The point I am trying to make is that everyone starts off as a bad gamer. Some rise up in stature in public forums while others do it behind close doors out of public scrutinyl. And then there are people who never try beacuse they are either not inspired enough to give it a shot or they simply suck too badly. And then most people prefer to stick to “simple” games like fucktarded farmville. And the rest perceive it as a childish hobby.

I know what you mean when you say that the world needs more gamers. And our ranks have been rising rapidly. And as for gaming hardware retailing at high prices, its partly due to low demand but more importantly because marketers know that gamers are ‘enthusiasts’. And enthusiasts buy products regardless of the price. I don’t see this scenario improving considerably in the near future. But let’s see our fingers crossed. Maybe pigs will fly one day.
